FAQs
Who can play in the leagues?
Adults (18 & over) may sign up as a team(Preference) or as an individual(see draft dates). Captains please register ASAP so that your team name is setup and your players can start registering.
These teams are placed in one of two divisions, Division A and Division B, with Division A being the stronger, more competitive division.
A team match consists of six games and includes one set of women’s and men’s singles and doubles, and two sets of mixed doubles (mixed doubles is always played last). Each game is won by the first team to reach fifteen (15) points. There is no tiebreaker played at 14-14. The team that serves and wins the next point, wins the set.

- Division A (stronger)
- Division B
Where do we play?
Pickleball courts near Rockville/Silver Spring area. The paid players will be notified of the location of the league.
Can I register as an individual/substitute/team?
Please register as a participant on a specific team. I will not be forming teams, therefore, you need to either create your own team or find a captain looking to fill out there roster of players as the three draft days opportunities.
Note to substitute players
Division B players may substitute in a Division A match but Division A players may NOT substitute in a Division B match. A player must be registered on a roster to play in a match. All players will be validated that they belong on a roster in the correct division.
What is the cost?
Each player on the roster will pay a one-time admin fee of $40 per person per each league. For each match, there is NO fee. Players are responsible to bring there own paddles and pickleballs.
Match results will be uploaded to DUPR.
Local League Information & Rules
Each team will be required to bring at least two men and two women at a minimum to a match. Rosters should be at least 6 players (3 men, 3 women) to ensure teams can field a team at each match on its scheduled date and time. I strongly recommend that rosters contain more than the required 6 players.
